Rammstein are famous for their martial live shows, their brutal songlyrics and extreme point of view. The poembook »Messer« of Rammstein-singer Till Lindemann is no exception. The book was divided into three volumes (»Vol. 1: Glaube (Faith)« , »Vol. 2: Liebe (Love)« and »Vol. 3: Tod (Death)«, each book has 100 pages), the poems have been assigned to the respective categories, to play with the texts in brutal and offensive manner, to alienate and destroy them and therefore present the written goods on an appropriate stage. Something the original book failed at.
